Quinceañera Policy and Information

Request a Quinceañera date

Requirements

  • The girl making her quinceañera must have received her First Holy Communion and Confirmation (or be currently enrolled in religious education classes).
  • She must have taken the quinceañera preparation class offered here at St. Joseph's. The cost is $50.00. After registration the person in charge will contact you with class dates.

Quinceañera masses are only offered Saturdays at 12 noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. The suggested donation is $200, and in order to reserve a date and time, we ask for a deposit of at least $50. The balance must be paid two weeks before the date of the quinceañera celebration, or the reservation will be cancelled. The deposit is non-refundable.

Preparation

Music is not part of the suggested donation. If you would like music for the Mass, you will need to make the arrangements directly with the person or group. Our Music Director is Andrea Mérida, and she can be reached at 303-534-4408, ext. 25 or at andrea@stjosephdenver.org.

Decorations can be placed in the church one hour before the Mass if time permits. Please check with the office to make sure that the church is not being used during that time.

The girl making her quinceañera should receive the sacrament of Confession some time before the Mass. We offer confessions 45 minutes before each Sunday mass (9 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m. or 6 p.m.) or by appointment.

For more information, or to check date availability, please call the office at 303-534-4408 or send an email to office@stjosephdenver.org.
